Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program The Santa Monica Bar Association is proud to participate in the State of California's Mandatory Fee Arbitration (MFA) Program. The MFA Program is an informal, low cost program for resolving fee disputes between people and their lawyers. Our program provides both arbitration services and mediation services for all parties. We are pleased to announce that the SMBA is now offering sponsorship for its 2025 events. We realize that you may plan your budgets annually, well in advance of our events; therefore, we want to provide you with ample notice of upcoming sponsorship opportunities.

As you know, your sponsorship of our events is essential to the financial success of our organization and allows you to remind our members of your valuable services. More specifically, by sponsoring our events, you can access an array of marketing and advertising options for your organization. From logos and links on our digital announcements and oral and written recognition at our events, you reach hundreds of people who are part of the SMBA network. As our association grows and our events continue to increase in popularity, a larger audience will become available to you.

The SMBA will be hosting annual events with available sponsorships including Judges’ Lunch, Judges’ Night; Summer Party; and Installation Dinner. In addition to these annual events, we have sponsorships available for events throughout the year including our quarterly networking mixers (Tuesday Toasts) and monthly MCLEs.
